The quarry of Black Galaxy Granite also named Golden Galaxy Granite or Star Galaxy Granite is located in the town of Chimakurthy, Ongole District, Andra pradesha state, 350 km away from Madras, a port city in the southeast of India. There are 40 quarries, each ranging in size from 2 to 20 acres and highly mechanized.
Eastwood Black Granite imports the raw blocks directly from the quarries and thus get lower cost and higher efficiency by reducing the intermediate link.
Black Galaxy Granite is a kind of gabbro in petrology, however it is generally classified as granite stone in building materials market, which can be divided into fine, medium and coarse grains due to its big and small golden grains. They are very uniform granular structure. It is black granite with fine-gap golden galaxy, so you may also hear of the name Black Golden Galaxy granite.
